We have Thunderbird on 4 computers. We all have our own personal account and then we share one account. Emails for the shared account do not appear on all the computers consistently. It varies by the day. The account is an IMAP account. On both the shared account and the personal account e-mails randomly disappear. This all started within the last few months. All was well until then. NO changes to the computers. HELP!

I use apple ipads and fons. one of the ipads is updated to 18.01 and the other is older. The newer updated ipad has suddenly stopped receiving emails. My server is HostEurope. who can I turn to for help. Thanks alot!!!

Syncing between my desktop and my phone has been working just fine for years, just as it had been with my laptop until recently, but I changed the version of Linux I had installed on my laptop earlier today, and despite being able to sign in just fine (as you can see by me posting this with my account), and it syncing correctly on the initial sign in, actively syncing between my laptop and other devices is not functioning (if I make a new bookmark right now, it will not show up on my phone or desktop).

Looking at the sync page in settings it says "Please sign in to reconnect [my email address]", and the account widget on my toolbar has a yellow triangle symbol and a warning saying "account disconnected", but if I click "connect to another device" on the sync menu and then click "not now" I can get to my account page, fully signed in and able to click buttons to change settings (I signed out my old laptop while I was there just fine).

Attempting to re-sign in by any method (clicking "connect to another device" in the sync menu and then choosing "I already have Firefox mobile"; clicking "sign in" in the sync menu; signing out fully, emptying my cookies etc. and then signing in fresh) all leads me into a loop where I insert my password, provide a verification code from my email, provide my 2-factor code, click "I already have Firefox mobile", and then have to sign in again doing the same steps leading to the same place, forever. I will note, however, that signing out entirely and then signing back in does get me from signed out to signed in despite not correcting this error.

In case it would help I attempted to change my password via the account menu, but it says that my definitely correct password (I used the exact same entry from my clipboard successfully to sign in moments ago) is incorrect, and attempting to use the "forgot my password" menu gives me the error "Unexpected error" instead of doing anything, which is not very helpful. My password remains unchanged. I do not know if this is relevant.

After some looking things up I was made aware of a secret menu called "about:sync-log" which I used to see if I could find an error message, and I did indeed find one (I can guarantee that it's new and relevant because this Linux install is only several hours old).

I am suddenly unable to login in to eBay using Firefox. This just started this morning (it was working fine last night). I opened Firefox in safe mode - no change - so it is not a plugin that is causing the problem. Here is what happens:

I click on my bookmark, and the login screen for eBay opens (sometimes). I enter the username, then it takes me to the stupid Captcha page. I pass that, then it goes back to the username page and says, "Oops, that's not a match". It will do this repeatedly for hours on end if I chose to do so. I have cleared the cache/cookies, so that is not he issue, either.

I can login to eBay just fine with Safari and Edge, so it is not a problem with my operating system. If anyone knows what might be causing this, your input will be greatly appreciated. Firefox version is 132.0.2.

I've tried the new thunderbird mobile. Very good indeed. Just two things missing for me. There is no way to add/delete a new folder. Second there is no way to print an email. Let me know when these points might be included.Thanks

ich habe das o.a. Mailprogramm von Tunderbird schon etliche Jahre auf meinem PC. Nachdem ich jetzt durch Urlaub meinen Eingangsspeicher längere Zeit nicht geleert hatte, waren ca. 1000 Mails darin enthalten. Ich habe versucht, alle zu löschen, was nicht gelang. Ich konnte nur die Mails löschen, die auf meinem Eingang ersichtlich waren. Seither ist es mir nicht möglich, weitere E-Mails zu empfangen! Ich kann sehr wohl Mails versenden, aber nicht empfangen. Das gilt für beide Konten, nämlich erwinh@kstp.at und Schweden60@ kstp.at ! Ich habe keine Einstellungen geändert und auch mein Internetanbieter Kabelplus St. Pölten hat keine anderen Einstellungen durchgeführt! Es ist ganz kurz einmal "aufgepoppt", mein Zertifikat ist abgelaufen! Ich weiß nicht welches Zertifikat und wie ich das verlängern könnte, damit die Eingänge auf die Mail-Konten wieder funktionieren? At computer cold boot on windows 11 home pro, Firefox view is open even though it is not in the start menu. It displays a flashy investment type site with a popup "sign up now" window over it. It does not happen on every cold start but does regularly. The site it displays does not show in history before of after it happens. I can find no place on the computer where that site exists, Bitdefender doesn't find anything and neither does Malwarebytes.

Is this something that Firefox did at last update to 132.02 which is when it started happening? Are you now going to have ads all over?

How do I stop this before there is an accidental software install from what looks like a very questionable website.

It was called "Trendview" which an existing website that doesn't have a great reputation and no way to contact them on their website that I can find.

I frequently use Mozilla Firefox for Android to access Microsoft services like OneDrive and Office 365 while working on my projects. Often, I need to edit videos on my Android device for work-related presentations or social media promotions.

I’m looking for a reliable video editing app that’s easy to use and works seamlessly with the files I manage through Microsoft services. Has anyone used CapCut alongside Firefox to upload and edit videos directly from OneDrive or similar platforms?

Thunderbird Mobile was installed 1 hour ago. Deleting emails on Thunderbird Mobile deletes on device only, but not on server. Accounts have been imported from desktop version. Server types are IMAP Mail Server.

Hallo, ich war 3 Wochen in Urlaub. Danach habe ich auf dem PC normalerweise jede Menge Mails, Spam usw. Jetzt überhaupt keine. Woran liegt das ? Das Einzige, was mir einfällt, daß ich auf meinem Norton Programm eine Aktualisierung von Thunderbird gemacht habe. Ergebnis : meine bisherige Version war 115.16.3 , die neueste Version ebenfalls 115.16.3. Was kann ich tun ? Danke, Wilhelm

ich will meine pers email Sieg1@beasieg.de einrichten, hatte bisher siegenglert@gmx.de diese hat das programm übernommen jetzt kann ich Sieg1@beasieg.de nicht mehr installieren

Thunderbird was working perfectly for Yahoo and another email (and the gmail inbox).

It is still working for for the second account and the gmail inbox!

The last yahoo message received via Thunderbird was at 22 November 2024 at 12.15 pm. I can see from the yahoo account online that I have received several more emails since then.

I tried to send a yahoo email today using Thunderbird;  result "Login to server smtp.mail.yahoo.com ...failed. I haven't changed anything. 

The Yahoo account server settings show: POP mail server pop.mail.yahoo.com port 995 SSL/TLS OAuth2

There's no SMPT server information displayed in settings.

Re the gmail inbox, when I set up thunderbird on my new computer in May and imported the email accounts, everything was present and correct except for the gmail account for which only the inbox and contents arrived.

There's no problem with any of the accounts when I log in online.

Can anyone help me with three questions please:

Is there a problem with Thunderbird 128.4.3esr?

If not how do I get it working again without having to do anything difficult or technical?

How can I recover the other folders from the third email account? I imported the account by copying the Thunderbird roaming profile in exactly the same way as for the other two accounts which arrived intact.

Hi everyone, I'm desperately trying to disable Firefox from starting when my windows starts up. I've tried disabling startup apps.

I've tried setting some settings to false like toolkit.winRegisterApplicationRestart & browser.startup.windowsLaunchOnLogin.disableLaunchOnLoginPrompt and this worked for a while and now it's back to starting with windows.

The box is unticked in menu - settings - Open Firefox automatically when your computer starts up. I tried al-sorts of things but I'm still having the same problem

Does anyone have any possible solutions I can try please? At the moment I have a script to end task as I can't find any other solution.

I'm having trouble with Thunderbird on my new Windows11 laptop. I've used Thunderbird for years and years on the old Windows10 one, but can't get it to work right on the new one. The version info it gives is "128.4.4esr (64-bit)"

Specifically two problems. (1) Every time it starts it asks for my yahoo server's password. Even though I check the box asking it to remember it, it doesn't. Under Settings->Privacy&Security (under Passwords)->SavedPasswords, the list is empty. (2) Second problem (may be same as first, but in a different form) Whenever I try to send an email message, it fails. It waits a long long time and then gives a popup saying "Login to server smtp.mail.yahoo.com with username bill.marshall@verizon.net failed." It gives me an option to enter a new password, and if I click there it doesn't let me enter the password again, just re-tries, again waits a long long time, then gives the same error popup. When I cancel, it gives a new popup saying to check the password and verify the 'Authentication method' in Account Settings (which I have done, and all looks OK).
