Learn about Firefox’s macOS session resume feature, which reopens Firefox after system restarts for continued browsing.

Starting with Firefox [[Find what version of Firefox you are using|version]] 132, macOS users will experience automatic session resume. When Firefox is active at the time of a macOS restart — due to a system update or shutdown — the browser will automatically reopen upon system boot, restoring any open tabs and active sessions.
