No way/option to automatically move mail based on Junk Status
I am currently running Thunderbird 68.9.0 (64-bit). I would like the ability to automatically move mail which has been set to Junk Status to the account's Junk folder.
I have looked in the documentation and do not see a way to do this.
I have also checked the mail filters but there is no way to filter based on Junk Status which I have been able to discover.
I also looked on the Security Panel, Junk Tab. While I did see the radio button option to move the mail when I mark an item as junk, that is not what I need. The closest I saw was the check box to Mark message determined to be Junk as read.
Am I missing something? If not, then can this feature be considered for future development?

In Tools/Account Settings, Junk Settings for the account, there is an option to move new junk messages to the Junk folder. With message filters, there is a Junk Status criterion if the option to filter after Junk Classification is selected (see picture).
Thank you that solved the immediate problem. However, as I understand it, there are global mail settings, which are set in via the Options/Security/Junk panel for all email accounts and then there are the account specific actions which are set via the Account Settings/Junk Settings.
On the Account Settings/Junk Settings screen, there is a button at the bottom of the screen which indicates Global settings are available. Pressing the button takes the user to the Global Settings screen. However, the reverse is not true. The Global Settings panel states there are account settings BUT there is no button to take the user there.
Furthermore, there is no clear delineation of why some settings are considered Global and others are Account Specific. At the moment I have 4 accounts plus local folders setup on my version of Thunderbird. I can understand why the Spam Assassin is at the account level.
But then you have the "When I mark messages as Junk" as a Global when one of the options is to move into the account's Junk Folder. Meanwhile, if the user want Thunderbird to automatically move new Junk messages, they have to set that up in the account settings. This behavior is inconsistent.
I am sorry Howard, but I don't understand what your last post asks. There are global and account settings Global settings act as a default when new accounts are added, whilst per account settings allow you to fine turn the settings to that account.
Most folk that have issues with mail not moving automatically by the way have the issue because their anti virus has the files locked scanning them and it is necessary to exclude the Thunderbird profile folder from the anti virus products on access and on change scanning.

Not on my system there isn't. I'd really like to use the Junk Status for filtering but that selection is there but is not selectable. Any other ideas?
