I used thunderbird since 2006 till now, but the present thunderbird was wrong somethings.

I used the imap mail on Thunderbird, and I created the Folder from lists below;

When I created the 25 message filters and run from inbox it's Work.

Example : Filters 1 Marketing Managers From contains : managers@xxx.xxx To contains : managers@xxx.xxx Move message to folder Marketing Managers under My Company and Marketing and sub-folder Marketing Managers

Filters 2 Marketing Customer Company A From contains : marketing@abc.xxx To contains : marketing@abc.xxx Move message to folder Marketing under My Customer and Company C and sub-folder Marketing But when I closed thunderbird and open again.

The alert pop-up will show about the filters can't move to destination folder. Then I'll check the filters again and found the problem with Perform these actions could not find the destination folder, I selected again and try to run It's work. After then I try again on next days. The alert pop-up display again.

Thunderbird 112, no message filters problem, but install new version (128.5.1 esr) found problem.

Anyone advice for solve or correct this problem.

The default Block Audio setting will prevent autoplay for all media with sound. The Block Audio and Video setting will prevent autoplay for all media, including video, even though audio is muted. The Allow Audio and Video setting will allow all media to autoplay.

Just installed 18.5.0.0 on Windows. Cannot find a horizontal menu that I have used before. It has many items including "History " which provides a drop down menu that includes "Clear history". Where is this thing? It's hard to locate when you don't know the name of a particular element.

I just tried to import my bookmarks from an HTML file. In the Bookmarks => Manage bookmarks => Import and backup => Import Bookmarks from HTML, after selecting the HTML file and then clicking "Close", nothing happens.

If I click on Bookmarks again, and look under import bookmarks, nothing shows up.

How do I get my book,arks to import from the HTML file, then have the bookmark menu appear as a drop down menu on my Firefox tool bar?

About a month ago I found that, when I clicked on Firefox browser, instead of the usual page with the default search engine duckduckgo coming up, a very plain page which just said "Search" appeared on screen with an address in the search bar which said something like "hp-search xxxxxxx". And when I entered the address I required it was clear that Yahoo was doing the search. I tried deleteing Mozilla from the Windows 10 control panel and then reinstalling it but each time I did this Firefox seemed to have been replaced by hp-searchxxxx and Yahoo. Eventually, after using an alternative uninstaller (Revo), I was able to remove and replace Mozilla with the genuine browser and search engine. I have a feeling it was when I added "Privacy Badger" or some other extension to Mozilla that the trouble occurred. Has anyone else had this problem and, if so, could they please tell me what I error I made?

hope that's the correct place to ask a TB calendar (formerly: Lightning) question?

I am using categories for different types of calendar entries and wonder whether there is a way to search/select only entries with a specific category (i.e. Anniversary) in the "Find Events" pane?

The category seems not to be a search item i.e. for "All Events" contain ....

So have Win11 , TB128.5.1esr (64-bit). Been running "TB" since it since it was Eudora 1.0.

I have an account set up to fetch my Gmails , set up as a POP. I've already unchecked... Tools/Account Settings/google pop account/server settings... -Check for new messages at startup -Check for new messages every -Fetch headers only And in "Advanced" , "include this server when getting new email" is greyed out and unchecked.

The google POP account uses it's own folders, not the "local folders, as does all my other pop accounts in TB.

When ever I click, "Get Messages" , the google POP account gets checked, and downloads emails.

How do I "disable" it from being part of the "Get Messages" button/command?

screen behavior in a mac is baffling! i want windows to stay where and how big they are, but firefox for mac has fancy behavior i DO NOT WANT. where is the list of behavior when clicking on screen size full, right, left etc click that i can turn OFF?

In the Today Pane, I use various views depending on what is shown in the rest of the Thunderbird window. Sometimes my Today Pane shows Events, sometimes Events and Tasks, and sometimes only Tasks. If one uses the Events and Tasks view in the Today Pane (left in the picture), one specifies how large the Events section is and how large the Tasks section by sliding a separator up or down. For some time now (since the release of Nebula?) I notice that, if I use the Tasks view in the Today Pane (right in the picture), the Tasks section does not fill the whole Today Pane, but its size is only that which the Tasks section has in the combined Events and Tasks view. The tasks used to fill all the space in the Today Pane by themselves, like the Events view still does (middle of picture). This seems like a bug to me. Has anyone else noticed this?

Dzień dobry, dostawca hostingu zmienił adres serwerów. W thunderbird mam 8 kont pocztowych, na 4 zmieniłem adres serwera poczty i wprowadziłem na nowo hasła. Po kliknięciu pogrupuj wiadomości grupuje tylko konta pocztowe na których nie było zmiany adresu serwera, te konta pocztowe na których była zmiana serwera NIE GRUPUJE wiadomości - proszę o pomoc jakie zmiany wprowadzić aby grupowało wszystkie wiadomości.

i need to delete the hotkey for closing browser/tabs with shift+w mainly. but every other hotkey is also in need of disabling. its an awful function that is completely unnecessary and unwanted. there is also nothing in the setting to even disable it which is fucking awful. why is it not a setting??

browser is about one reply from support away from being forever uninstalled.

My settings are checked to ask where I want a download to go, but then also puts a copy in the downloads folder. How can I stop the additional copy of a download?

I did a search to try and fix this. Suggestions included, checking if Private Windows are on, Customizing Toolbar, making sure all extensions are enabled and Refresh Firefox, all of which I did with no results. Before I go nuclear and uninstall/install Firefox, are there any other suggestions to solve this issue?
