once in a while firefox forces me to double click everything. This does not apply to the top of the window: tabs, URL bar, bookmarks toolbar, extensions all work fine. But everything in the webpage requires a double click. This includes selecting text. A restart makes it go away.

The only extensions I had in use when this happened were uBlock origin, proton pass, and SponsorBlock. Switching into troubleshoot mode fixed it, but after switching back into normal mode it was still fixed, so I can't say that the extensions cause the issue.

I would have just commented on [this related thread](https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/1038784), but it's archived. I never understood the point of archiving a thread. From now until the end of time when people find that thread when googling their issue, there's no way to give them new information. At least in a github issue it can still include a link to other threads that have mentioned it.

I am running firefox 132.0.2 (aarch64) on macos 15.0 (24A335).

I am trying to read the Wall Street Journal online, but I receive the subject message. Not a problem with other browsers. I need a relatively easy fix to continue with Firefox as I am not a sophisticated trouble shooter

Have a service ticket website we use (EasyVista) that should be form populating previous entries however this is not happening in FireFox. Doing this on Chrome works properly. I've included screenshots showing both.

The pie in the upper ribbon in Firefox browser indicates that my account is disconnected. I've repeatedly tried to sign in and then input the verification code and but I keep getting this message:

Bad Request Something went wrong. Please close this tab and try again.

Couldn't find anything in the community forum. On this support page, I appear to be logged in. I am confused.

There is a (new) Secure SSL forward proxy in my corporate. It requires a client to perform: TCP handshake + TLS handshake + followed by http CONNECT request

Now this works fine when we simulate proxy connection using curl, for instance:

1. curl --head -v -ik --proxy https://proxy.mydomain.com:8443 https://www.google.com/

However when setting up FF for proxy configuration, and adding proxy details under HTTPS Proxy, cant connect via that proxy. Looking at network dump we do see that FF is doing: TCP handshake + straight away sends http CONNECT request - and its missing to initiate TLS handshake....

Is there anyway at all to configure FF to connect via secure SSL proxy ?

When I click on edit in WordPress to edit a post on my website, all I get is a white page. It works fine on Chrome, thank God, so I can keep it going. It worked fine 2 weeks ago.

How do I stop the autofill/saved addresses from adding +1 to my phone number? I constantly have to remove it from data fields on websites because they expect only "555-555-5555".

There appears to be an issue regarding login to Instacart. I contacted Instacart and reported that clearing my history did not resolve the issue. Chrome allows the login. Please try to resolve this issue. Thanks. Rich

The master password dialog box won't go away. It does not recognize any of my previous pwd. Also using the Recovery Key to create a new pwd does not make the dialog box go away. Should I move all my data to a different browser? What about move FF to an earlier version?

BTW this is occurring on my iOS 12.7.6 Petra

So I reinstall my PC. As I remember, I never before do anything with passwords and bookmarks. Maybe I am wrong, but I was think about to this is all on my Mozilla Account. Now when I look, its probably not. So for my "luck" I have all passwords and bookmarks and history on my smartphone but I have one crazy problem. When I try to login on my mozilla account none of passwords I know doesn't work, so I change password and now when I log in my account with new password doesn't sync anything from my smartphone, but my smartphone also won't sync anything because of changed password. If I log out from my smartphone and log in again with new password, do I lost all settings, passwords, bookmarks and other stuff?

I am trying to fix Firefox performance issues. I recently changed to Firefox to escape forced ads on chrome and the lost support for the Ublock origin. But I am having difficulty performing tasks and pages That I used to be able to do on Chrome with no difficulty.

When I open multiple tabs at once the tabs freeze up when trying to load and already opened tabs freeze and anything streaming also freeze. It takes tons of time to load multiple tabs and even sometimes single tabs depending on the website. This never happened with Chrome and I understand Firefox is not as refined as Chrome and is far younger than Chrome is but I feel like it shouldn't be this bad. Is there any settings maybe or maybe settings/preferences in the config area area that might help with faster performance and increased multitasking ability in the Firefox browser?

I have tried

1. Updating Firefox - I am running the most up to date version 2. Updating Graphics Drivers- I am running the most up to date drivers(Updated yesterday 11/17/2024 3. Deleting Cache/History/Logs 4. removed or disables unneeded extensions that I don't use every day and only activate when I need them.

None of this has worked to increase performance.

P.S. I would also like to fix the problem where firefox is using too much RAM if possible.

Today I have installed Pocket on one of my Windows PCs in the Firefox browser. I got the symbol on the address bar and it works. Now I want to install Pocket on another PC, but I don't get the symbol. Without symbol I cannot use it. I can login to Pocket on the second PC and open saved URLs, but I cannot add Websites to my Pocket account. How do I get the symbol?

Hi, this AM South Australia time, Firefox did an update again. Later I needed to sign onto Ebay, which required a Capcha verification. After several attempts failed. EBay's solution was to use a different browser. Edge worked fine. What has happened?

I would like to be able to remove Firefox's default search shortcut keywords for a site while still being able to use my own shortcut for that site. For example, if I would like to set wikipedia.org to only "@wi", it will automatically be set to "@wi, @wikipedia". I can remove wikipedia as a search engine, but then I'm not able to set my own keyword. Is there a way to do this? Thanks in advance.

Every few weeks or so I loose all logins on all sites on firefox ... I have settings to save login passwords however this forces me to re-login with all their 2FA etc

This has been happening for years

My guess is I have failed a login on say https://aws.amazon.com/ or some similarly highly sensitive site which triggers firefox to reset all logins on all sites. Sound familiar ? ... Any advice  ?

The issue with the slow loading of Youtube videos has been going on for quite some time. It can take 10-30 seconds for a video to completely load. It's not an issue with my PC as everyone I know has the same problem plus it has been documented many times. I hate having to use Chrome to access Youtube videos but I have no choice at this time. Please come up with a solution for this issue.

Hi, I've noticed that only a small percentage of the sites I pin to the New Page tab manage to load their favicons. Even well known sites like Google or Mozilla.org fail to load the image. So I tried to customize them with the "Custom Image URL" option, but they are not appearing either. They load at first when I hit "preview", but they fail to load once I press "save".

It seems the code is not even loading the appropriate resource, which—I think—should be placed in a 'style' attribute with a 'background-image:url()' CSS property, with the image path placed between the parentheses. I also checked the thumbnails folder (AppData\Local\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\nt5cyawc.default-release\thumbnails), and I found the image is properly saved there, so it's the browser who's not loading them for some reason.

I was able to use it this morning, but now it is blocked. The help is not helpful because it only says to open the link in a new tab which does not make any difference. I get this same error randomly on marthastewart.com, foodandwine. com and others.

How do I tell firefox that these pages are okay? I have added them all in the exceptions part of enhanced tracking, but that does not make any difference.

Please advise if this was a bug that occurred after your 11/12 Tues. update. It appears that a patch of some sort was sent on 11/16 Saturday, but it did not help with bookmarks. I hope I don't have to use a different browser in order to save bookmarks or favorites. I also lost my Norton and Ad Muncher & had to re-set those again. I hope you have a fix for this as Firefox had a problem similar to this in late October '24. I really appreciated the stability prior to this. Thank you. P.S. What does this mean on my Firefox Settings page? Information "Your browser is being managed by your organization."
