The help pages states that you can change the display order of columns in the message list by clicking and dragging. I am unable to make this work. Help!
I want to move the "read" column left, just to the right of the starred column. I've tried clicking and dragging, ctrl-click and drag, but neither works.

I use TB 68.2.2 (64 Bit) with Sierra (10.12) and I can freely drag and drop the columns around.
Can you still RESIZE the columns? (Does a bar with arrows pointing to either side appear when you are at the edge of a column - on the headers level?)
If you see the double arrow cursor - indicating you CAN resize a column - move it a couple of millimeters to the right or left: then Click, Drag, and Drop the column header.

It works on Windows, but it might not on Macs. Are you dragging the column button, i.e. the button with the word Subject, Read, Date etc.?
Does it work in safe mode (hold Option when you launch TB)?
Thank you for your reply. On my Mac, there are no apparent buttons on the column headings, just the label (or in the case of "read," the icon) similar to a spreadsheet. I have tried to click/drag the cell as well the cell label, both efforts ineffective.
If memory serves, previous versions of TB had the "read" icon farther left, but I'm on auto update and have no way of checking.
Is there an add-on that I could use to reorganize the message list column order?
In the meantime, I will try opening TB in safe mode to see if that enables the function.
I'm not aware of an add-on to reorganize the columns in TB 68, although ColumnsWizard appears to do this for TB 60.
In the attached picture, the Correspondents column button in light blue is an example of what you should drag. The buttons aren't sufficiently distinct with some themes.

Thanks for your help. I should have indicated my platform right at the first. Catalina 10.15.1, and TB 60.9.1.
I suppose the newest OS might have had something to do with how the message list displays, but this morning I discovered that I can drag the column headers to reposition them. I have no clue as to what changed, but I'm not going to look a gift horse in the mouth.
Thank you all for your patient support!
