not responding after trying to browse desktop for an upload. Please advise.

I had an issue with some malware and after running combofix, I can no longer browse my desktop to upload to my website. Have tried everything I can think of to fix this including a complete delete of firefox and a reinstall on both my profile and a dummy one as well. If you have any ideas as to how i can fix this, I would be most grateful.
