For some reason, I am getting message that the Certificate for server is not valid (etc.). I can not get or send my emails as of this morning. Is there something I can do to resolve this issue?

When I press "New Contact" in Address Book mode, so that I can enter a new contact, the address list (far left field) grays out , the new contact data entry field appears and I am able to enter data in this field. However, I am unable to save the new contact in the address book which I have selected! The only way that I can get the pane back to normal is by closing the Address Book tab. Jim

Hallo, seit ca. 3 Wochen habe ich das Problem, dass wenn ich Thunderbird öffne, Emails erst 30 Sekunden später aberufen werden. Was hab ich getan? Google bemüht, nichts gefunden. Speicherplatz um 400 Emails gelöscht, vorhandenen Speicher 2000 auf 4000 gesetzt. hat alles nichts gebracht. Erweiterungen habe ich so keine, bis auf Language Deutsch. Cache gelehrt, brachte auch nichts. Windows 11 Prof. Thunderbird 128.5.1 eser.

When I get a meeting invite via email, or manually create a task or event they do not sync from the tbird home calendar to google calendar. However, if I create an event or task in another of my calendars it automatically goes to the g-calender and tbird home calendar.

When I get an email invite or create a task or event from an email I do not have the choice to use another of my calendars which syncs with g-calender.

How do I get the tbird home calendar to sync to g-calendar? In searching for answers there are several archived and current unanswered question on this topic so my guess is it does not work?

Using Tbird v128.5.1esr (64-bit) on windows 11

Hi, I have absolutely no filters set up and I am getting this error message. I saw this issue has been mentioned in support, but the answers were to disable filters. What can I do since I have no filters set up? This just started happening after years of using Thunderbird. Thank you!

In the Today Pane, I use various views depending on what is shown in the rest of the Thunderbird window. Sometimes my Today Pane shows Events, sometimes Events and Tasks, and sometimes only Tasks. If one uses the Events and Tasks view in the Today Pane (left in the picture), one specifies how large the Events section is and how large the Tasks section by sliding a separator up or down. For some time now (since the release of Nebula?) I notice that, if I use the Tasks view in the Today Pane (right in the picture), the Tasks section does not fill the whole Today Pane, but its size is only that which the Tasks section has in the combined Events and Tasks view. The tasks used to fill all the space in the Today Pane by themselves, like the Events view still does (middle of picture). This seems like a bug to me. Has anyone else noticed this?

Events reminders that are snoozed sometimes do not show back up. I discovered this when I restarted my PC and when Thunderbird came back up, a number of those snoozed events were suddenly back.

After deleting/removing a gmail account Thunderbird gets stuck in a loop constantly requesting that I login into that non-existing account.

The only solution I found was from over 2 years ago suggesting that we manually find and remove some random files, which also caused me to have to re-login into all of the existing accounts.

I feel like adding and removing accounts is a basic functionality for email apps. How has this not been fixed in over 2 years??

And why does it even remember removed accounts? If I remove it from the list of accounts I expect Thunderbird to delete all mentions of it from my system.

Dzień dobry, dostawca hostingu zmienił adres serwerów. W thunderbird mam 8 kont pocztowych, na 4 zmieniłem adres serwera poczty i wprowadziłem na nowo hasła. Po kliknięciu pogrupuj wiadomości grupuje tylko konta pocztowe na których nie było zmiany adresu serwera, te konta pocztowe na których była zmiana serwera NIE GRUPUJE wiadomości - proszę o pomoc jakie zmiany wprowadzić aby grupowało wszystkie wiadomości.

После сжатия папки входящие в программе Mozilla Thunderbird исчезли все сообщения в рабочей почте. Покажите путь, как восстановить сообщения и/или путь, куда программа переправила все сообщения. Данное удаление происходит не первый раз и я уже терял все свои сообщения.

I'm using 128.5esr (64-bit) in Mac. There was a email in inbox ; I can mark it as read-under but cannot delete, move; I tried many times delete or move but nothing happened. After several restart that zombie email left but also I saw many empty folders which must have hundred emails in it...

my last backup belongs to months ago, so I lost all important emails. How to recover it I do not know. Any advice ?

I want to save files externally from the service provider so that they are on my PC. Could this be POP3 and can old files be converted to this or:- Is the another way of saving directories of data to my PC Thanks Alan

I've looked through FAQs and found off-line capability within Thunderbird for Windows. However, the off-line icon is not available on my tablet or in a menu.

I have Thunderbird installed on my PC and I have a HOW TO question.

I have my wife's email account setup to forward all mail to my email account. When the mail arrives, I have a filter that moves her mail to a folder and that filter works great. My problem was that we received an email yesterday where the TO line contained my both my email addresses (i.e. MMMM.xxxxx.com WWWW.ggggggggg.com). My email is not filtered and stays in the inbox but when the message arrived, the filter saw her address on the TO line in addition to my address and moved the message to her folder and I did not see the message since it was no longer in the inbox.

I tried to setup new, additional filter that I thought might work where the TO line contained both addresses where the filter action was to copy the message to her folder but leave the message in inbox but that didn't work. Since this message was from our homeowners association I tried FROM contains (i.e. @HOAssociation.com) and one or both of our email addresses on the TO line with the action still being a copy to her folder but that didn't seem to work either.

It was late at night (early morning) so I gave up and decided to ask for help so if anyone knows how to set this up. please let me know. Thanks.

As a totally blind individual, I use a screen reader talking software package to read aloud material displayed on the screen. I tried Thunderbird for the first time yesterday, and I love its logic and simplicity. I am hoping to find electronic documentation so I can learn important tasks such as: what do all of the categories mean in the Sort emails option; how do I obtain the "from" address in an email message so I can create a mail filters using the address to automatically send certain messages to trash when they arrive; I love short HTML but want to know how it differs from the default message format; and so on and so on. If there is no comprehensive documentation in one file, perhaps what I need is a simple tutorial on how to search for the answers to these questions myself. I don't want anyone having to retype material that I can find if I am shown how to do so. I do Googloe and Kagi searches all of the time, and would gladly welcome material on how to search Thunderbird help to find answers. I love the product; it works smoothly and easily with my screen reader, something another big competitor's cliendt doesn't seem to do. Once I learn a bit more, I plan to make Thunderbird my default email client. Thanks for such an awesome experience.

I want to stop all threads appearing in my tabs when I open just the latest message. Although I delete them, they have a habit of proliferating and then its takes a while to return to the inbox.

I have a dozen different email accounts set up in T-Bird. Except for my gmail account, all of them take the form of prefixes to the domain name that I own. To get new mail several times a day I normally use the shortcut Shift+F5. However, my age-challenged memory doesn't always know how long ago I most recently did that download. As a feature, I would like to see posted somewhere the time of the most recent download, in a simple hh:mm format. Maybe it could also be shown for any given account when I download only that one. If this feature is already available I haven't yet found it.
