Need to delete some folders in Thunderbird

Dear Users,

I have 2 folders in Thunderbird which I need to delete but I can't.

They used to look like regular folder icons but after a dropped internet connection, the folder icons have changed, and now the icons look like a small page with a few lines on it.

I'm a neat freak so I need to delete these folders and tidy up my folders!

Please help!

Kind regards,

Ash

Are the folders existent on the server? Check via webmail to confirm.j

Hi Stans,

Hope you are well. Thanks for your reply.

The folders are only on my local laptop - there are no folders existent on the server.

Kind regards,

Ash

If that's the case, then I don't see the connection with the dropped internet. No matter, you could open your profile folder, under the Mail subfolder you should find the local folders and delete them from there. Quit Thunderbird first. See Profiles - Where Thunderbird stores your messages and other user data

Dear Stans,

You are a genius - that worked for me!

My folders are back the way I wanted toarrange them so I am very happy now!

Kind regards,

Ashar
