thank you, on first sight nothing obvious is popping up there. some things worth trying:

• enter about:config into the address bar and right-click and reset the two preferences security.OCSP.signingCA & security.OCSP.URL
• clear the cache & cookies from yahoo.com
• test if you can replicate this behaviour when you launch firefox in safe mode once? Troubleshoot extensions, themes and hardware acceleration issues to solve common Firefox problems
