I have an issue with the Firefox printing dialog. Everything I print comes out tiny, covering only 25% of the page. This only happens when using the Firefox print dialog, when I select "use system dialog" everything prints fine. The page looks normal on the print preview window, and only looks small once printed. I have tried resetting the printer settings from about:support, and I don't see any erroneous settings in about:config. I'm assuming there is something I'm missing that makes the page size wrong.

Hi everyone, I'm desperately trying to disable Firefox from starting when my windows starts up. I've tried disabling startup apps.

I've tried setting some settings to false like toolkit.winRegisterApplicationRestart & browser.startup.windowsLaunchOnLogin.disableLaunchOnLoginPrompt and this worked for a while and now it's back to starting with windows.

The box is unticked in menu - settings - Open Firefox automatically when your computer starts up. I tried al-sorts of things but I'm still having the same problem

Does anyone have any possible solutions I can try please? At the moment I have a script to end task as I can't find any other solution.

Hello, I am planning to do a fresh Linux install and in this context I also want to setup Thunderbird completely new, starting with the default settings. However, there are two things I would like to backup and restore (export and import).

  1. The information which emails I have explicitly labelled as "Junk"/"No junk"
  2. The information from which domains I allow loading remote content

I think this makes a lot of sense because I can setup my accounts easily and the mails, addresses and calendars will be synced from the cloud, and view configuration is no big deal either. Only that kind of "user data" that was gathered over several years is something I want to hold on to, and be able to continue to use. Is this possible somehow? I am not afraid, e.g., to manually copy individual files from the profile folder, if that data is stored cleanly separated somewhere. Kind regards, Chris

I was watching videos and I noticed that sometimes my FF freezes when I look at the preview of a video. The computer is working fine since I can tell that it is only the browser "screen" that is freezing and not the whole pc. I can fix that by clicking outside the browser's window, like clicking the taskbar and it goes back to normal, still very annoying. I was able to completely fix the issue by unchecking the option "Use recommended performance settings" and just leaving the option "Use hardware acceleration when available" ON. Now I don't have these random freezes while still being able to use hardware acceleration.

My question is: what are those "recommended performance settings" that FF was using? I can't find any information about them or a list. I know that FF uses my pc specs to determine those settings but I wish I could manually set them by myself. Any ideas? Thanks!
