I have checked and I am running the latest version of Firefox Something has changed. When I go to a website I regularly use to view information a pop up window has to open. For a long using this site opening pop up windows has not been a problem after I allowed the site to open pop up windows. Now when I use the site to view this information Firefox blocks the pop up and in the options presented to me I have to choose show the requested pop up window. The choice to allow pop ups from this site is shown but I cannot click on it. When I check the list of allowed sites for pop ups this site is shown

Others have mentioned such issues. Does it happen in "troubleshoot mode"? https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/diagnose-firefox-issues-using-troubleshoot-mode

Thanks again TerryN21 for your reply. I will follow your suggestion and delete the effected sites from the exception list and start again. Thanks again for your help.
