Then check the list on the right. Enabled extensions are listed first, then at the bottom, the disabled extensions. Can you find the AOL Toolbar anywhere? If it has a Disable button, it is already enabled but apparently there is a problem with it. If it has an Enable button, try that. If it does not have an Enable button and mentions that it could not be verified (it is not digitally signed), that could be the problem. Firefox 43 requires that extensions be digitally signed by the Mozilla Add-ons team, otherwise, they are disabled.
