For the last few months Firefox on my android phone has been often (but not always) forcing searches with bing. I have all search options set to Google so this should not be happening and I don't want it. I have no extensions installed at all. I have also turned off studies as I saw reports online that this can sometimes cause the problem I'm having but it makes no difference.

I closed an account that I had gmail send all my information from. Now that I want to download it, I can't due to the fact that it wants me to log into the account that no longer exists. If I try signing in to another account to try to download it will not let me. This is a brand new phone and I can't open my bank app due to a message that keeps reading " page management" ,have installed and Uninstaller it. Been to bank, TMobile site and simply nothing works and now i can't recover my downloads from an account that was closed even though I downloaded them cause it keeps sending me the email address of the account that's closed and won't accept another account to open the download. For some reason I installed the separate Ghostery app on the tablet, and it doesn't work. Will it work as an addon - does that work in Firefox on Android? I've been using Firefox on both my Linux PC and my Android phone for years. Yesterday when I pulled it up on the phone I was told it wouldn't work and needed an update. I checked for updates in the PlayStore and found nothing. So I uninstalled and reinstalled it. On the phone it has lost all history and password access. I took a copy of the history from the desktop site and copied the file to the phone, but can't find a way to get it to load.
