I have listened to CNN on my computer for months. Now that I have installed Firefox 4.0, I can't listen to it any more. What happened? There's nothing on CNN's help section about a problem with Firefox's update. Both the link on CNN's home page, and the link listed below (it's a "reflector") no longer work.

This is the "reflector" link, which has worked perfectly for months so that I could listen to CNN live on my computer (no picture, just the sound):

Please, somebody out there must have some clue as to what I should do! It's so quiet without my CNN.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem.

In Firefox 4 you can use one of these to start in Safe mode:

  • Help > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
  • Hold down the Shift key while double clicking the Firefox desktop shortcut (Windows)

Thank you kindly for your reply. I have already "solved" the problem - I uninstalled Firefox 4.0 and reinstalled Firefox 3.17. Voila! I can listen to CNN online without any problem once again.

Thank you again for your time. I appreciate that you tried to help me.
