I have a problem with websites, two in particular: RawStory.com and the hill.com. RawStory is very bad about this, every tab reloads every 3 minutes or so. I have checked ask for permission to reload, I have tried using script blockers and none of that seems to help. I really want to fix this as those are two of my favorite sites, but the constant reloading slows every thing down. HELP!!!

Usually Firefox shows a warning when a site tries to reload. I don't know if this is something that came with a new version but maybe you should try to update firefox (https://www.mozilla.org/de/firefox/new/)

Otherwise you could try to remove the meta tag, which is responsible for the reload. Looks like this: <meta http-equiv="refresh" content="300"> Follow these steps to remove the meta tag: - open context menu - press "q" on your keyboard - scroll to the top of the window which just popped up - search for the meta tag - right click on the tag and choose "Delete Element"

Should work. But you have to repeat it every time you visist the site. Don't know if there is a permanent solution.

I tested this, as I was confused as to why it would be reloading so much, but nothing came up with that meta tag which leaves me to believe it maybe something else....I am investigating further...

Edit: I think I may have found why it is reloading at least rawstory.com There are numerious errors, this is one of them: 20:13:17.105 Error: Ad adLoadError error: No ads were found in the ad response. At least one ad is required to be able to load or play. errorCode: 10011 1
