I went into preferences and changed the colors of the fonts and background. Now when I open an email i can't see the text. I went back to preferences to change the font colors back and i can't see the text in preferences to do that. I have black background color. I tried reinstalling Thunderbird but it didn't help.

Just how did you make this change? Changing font colors in preferences is supposed to only change the color of the fond and background in the write window in the email body.

My font color in my write window is acceptable. My inbox (home) screen has changed to a black backround. I did not do it. Seems to have changed with one of the many recent program changes. Frustrated.
