The page http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/#top says to update plug-ins. HOW? There is a "research" instead of "update" for those plug-ins.
http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/plugincheck/#top shows me plug-ins that need to be updated but does not offer any method to update those plug-ins, only a research link. I clicked on one of them which opened a whole page of other links that does not help at all. I do not need any other links, only an option to update, not to research. I am sorry that I am so computer illiterate that I do not understand anything about researching plug-ins. It is all Greek to me. If I am supposed to update, please offer an UPDATE button, not a RESEARCH button. How do perform the updates on these plug-ins?

Hello,
Try this, Go to Tools » Complements» Plugins, if the plugin need update will appear a link to update
I could not find TOOLS.
The new updated Firefox is so different that I can hardly find ANYTHING now!
"Research" means that mozilla needs to find out what this plugin is or the location/how to find an update.
Which plugin is in need of an update?
Research means that you have to check yourself for updates on the website of the specific company/plugin that supplies this plugin for Firefox.
Mozilla can't have a record of every possible plugin, so only the most common plugins are recognized.
The research plugins are from Microsoft and other major player in the industry.. Mozilla can and should know about these... no excuses.
