MemTest LAST UPDATED : 12/04/2020
Could you please run a tool from http://memtest.org/
in order to check the integrity of your RAM?
You will need a thumb or disk drive to install it on.
Do you let Windows handle the page file or did you set a fixed size ?
If you use a fixed size for the page file then try the former and let Windows handle the page file.
Hi, thanks for your response.
It looks like I let Windows handle the page file.
Those crash reports led to my computer bsod-ing.
This has been an occurrence nearly once a day for this week now. Those bsod error codes included:
STORE_DATA_STRUCTURE_CORRUPTION (1C7) ; UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP (7F) - OF TYPE 0X8 EXCEPTION_DOUBLE_FAULT; IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL; UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP; KERNEL_AUTO_BOOST_INVALID_LOCK_RELEASE; KERNEL AUTO BOOST INVALID LOCK RELEASE WITH RAISED IRQL;
I have not run memtest, but would those crashes and those bsod codes be an indication of bad memory?
Thank you!
We won't know until you run the test.
