Up to recently setting media.autostart to false worked as expected, netflix and vimeo videos would present then start when play clicked. This behaviour has changed in the last few releases and is still present in 57b13. Now the videos present then immediately go to a black screen, clicking on the black screen doesn't work, right clicking on the screen doesn't present a menu. Have tried running in safe mode with no change. Is this change a bug or by design? Windows 10. Both sites work correctly in edge. Both sites work with media.autostart set to true.

There have been issues reported before with using media.autostart=false to disable playing media files in the past because the JavaScript on the website doesn't detect this properly and may hang or otherwise think that the player is working. Changing prefs is always at your own risk and it is not guaranteed that this works properly.
