I can't upload files with YouSendIt.com
I'm using Mac OSX 10.7.4, and Firefox 12. Until recently I have had no trouble uploading with YouSendIt. But now when I do, I go through all the steps, it says "sending in progress," but nothing happens in the rectangle that should show progress.
The status bar at the bottom says it's transferring data. And then, ultimately, it tells me sending failed.
"We are very sorry that you were not able to send files right now. Please try again later.. Please check and try again later."
Finally, I tried to upload via YouSendIt using Chrome - and I have had no problem. Since Firefox is my main browser, I thought I would post my problem here.

Is the upload done via a normal Browse button like used on this forum to attach images?
Do you have security (anti-virus software) software that might block the uploading?
It is done through a browse button. I'm on a Mac - no knowledge of any antivirus software. I can do the upload with Chrome so I think the issue lies in Firefox.
Hello SanFranDan,
My name is Josh, and I'm actually part of the YouSendIt Customer Support team. This type of issue can be caused by a few different things. A common cause is something in the browser cache causing interference. You may want to try clearing your Cache (an option in Clear Recent History) - if that doesn't help, send me a Private Message with your contact e-mail and I can help you through this. :-)
Best Regards,
Josh
If this does get resolved through private message, can you post the solution to this question for future reference? :)
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
- Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
- Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
If clearing the cookies doesn't help then it is possible that the file cookies.sqlite that stores the cookies is corrupted.
Rename (or delete) cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and delete other present cookie files like cookies.sqlite-journal in the Firefox Profile Folder in case the file cookies.sqlite got corrupted.
I cleared the cache as Josh and Cor-El suggested, and it worked! Thank you so much everybody! (No offline help needed!)
