Can not send email. when i switch the thunderbird folders under profile in %appdata% in can send email. which file is doing this
Restored an image of windows 7 because i could not send emails. before the restore i copied the THUNDERBIRD FOLDER FROM %APPDATA% FOLDER.Named it Thunderbirdnew.
After the image was installed i named the existing Thunderbird folder in %appdata% to Thunderbirdold. I copied the Thunderbirdnew folder into the existing %appdata% folder, then renamed it THUNDERBIRD. Ran the program.could not send emails. Renamed the Thunderbird folder Thunderbirdnew. Then I took the Thunderbirdold folder renamed it Thundrerbird and restarted the program. No Problems could send emails.
NOTE: Using another email client I got an Error Message: The input is not a vaild Base-64 string as it contains a non-base 64 character, more than two padding characters, or an illegal character amoung the padding characters.
My questin is which file in the tHUNDERBIRD folder would cache login autherization info or effect the login of the smtp side of the Thunderbird program.

I don't follow what you did with your profile folders and why.
Wrt the problem with sending emails, what prevents you from sending messages?

I'm not sure how this is related to Thunderbird.

You can tell Thunderbird to remember your account password. To manage the remembered passwords: At the top right of the Thunderbird window, click the menu button, then select Options > Security > Passwords > Saved Passwords > Show Passwords.
