Why is it that when I type in part of an url in firefox search, for example "surf" when I'm wanting to visit r/surf, firefox suggests threads I viewed a single time rather than r/surf that I view multiple times per day?

You can see in chrome it behaves more like you would expect.

Sometimes plain r/surfing will be there but most of the time not, it's just random threads I viewed a single time.

There doesn't seem to be any combination of search settings that makes it suggest more frequently viewed sites

How do I save my settings when I change them? I really do not like the dark theme but when I try to change it to the light theme it does not seem to recognize my choice when I open Firefox the next time. I also don't like that fact that Firefox does not open on my homepage like it used to. How can I revert to the Firefox I had before it was apparently updated?

I need to install the newest Firefox browser on my android phone and be able to get a video chat session to work . The browser test on the jpay website fails the test chat every time.

I accidentally Uninstalled my Firefox(don't ask). So I reinstalled it. How do I get the info from my old installation into my new installation? I don't have the sign in info for my old installation as that where it was saved.

The long-press back button no longer summons the tab's history on my Android phone or my Galaxy tab. Mozilla appears to have disabled this feature quite recently. I'm referring to the small arrow in the lower right-hand corner that you hit quickly to go back once. It was quite useful to do a long press on the arrow and have the history of the tab pop up in a list. You could then pick any page on the list and go directly back, skipping over all the other pages.

Please reinstate this useful feature?

not sure if it's actually a firefox issue. Using it on a huawei table with harmonyOS gives a portray view in landscape modus and no fullscreen avaliable.

I need to put all my physics books marks into a physics folder. I created the physics folder without a problem. Then I went into one of my bookmarks and tried to edit the bookmark. It will say physics at the bottom when I switch the folder that bookmark is supposed to go in. But when I go back, the physics bookmark is not in the physics folder

Hi. In new version dissapear translation, so i deside to downgrade to 134 version. Translation not exist too? Is this connecected with google account, i dont have it in my cell. So i conect to yours servers to save my tabs. Now i have this 134 version and i cant bring my saved tabs they are not exist on Yours server? I am facing an issue whenever I visit any website with Marathi or Devnagari font on one particular device, e.g. www.loksatta.com. The app is updated to the latest version. I am using Samsung Galaxy M51.

I have reset the data, reinstalled the app but it didn't help. This is happening on only one device, on my other devices, phone/ tablet/ iPhone, I don't have any issues with the same website.

using a Samsung s20ultra with Android operating system if that matters anyway accidentally closed/lost all my tabs by trying to just clean up my phone with to much stuff being ran on it anyway is there a way at at to recover these closed or deleted tabs as i have important information and reminders that i had on here and im very upset i cant retrieve them

It's incredibly frustrating to get logged out of Saver Credentials every time I visit, even though I have 'Clear cookies' turned off. What's the point of having this option if it doesn’t work? Please look into this issue and provide a solution. I have not installed any add ons .

Previously, when I downloaded a pdf file and I clicked open, I used to get small pop up window asking what app I want to use to open the pdf file with. Now, it just opens in Firefox. I don't want to view the pdf in Firefox. I can go to the files folder, find the file that j downloaded, select the three dots options menu and select open with. But thats too convoluted. I would like the previous functionality back of whenever I click open on a download pdf file, it asks me how I want to open it instead of directly opening it in Firefox.

Something about the behaviour of the browser has caught our attention.

There are various possible explanations for this:

You are browsing and clicking at a speed much faster than expected of a human being.
Something is preventing JavaScript from working on your computer.
There is a robot on the same network (IP 24.126.194.0) as you.

Any suggestions?
