Emails won't download despite saying it is downloading from server

more options

Hi,

When I log in via my HP laptop it says it is downloading 1 of 40+ emails from my server, the green bar is full but it doesn't download the emails?

I access the same email account from my iphone and this is working fine. I haven't changed any settings, not done anything different, but since yesterday I have had this problem.

Any help/solution would be very much appreciated..........

Thanks for your response. It is a POP3 account, by disabling all components of my Norton anti-virus software this seems to have sorted the problem, I have now re-enabled the software and it is still working fine!! Thanks again.
