Firefox 3.6.13 on my Win7 (64bit) just started adding <b> tags in front of some text at random rate. I am getting this 100% randomly (e.g. on a site I was creating + on a few sections in phpMyAdmin, then on Google and on few other sites). It really has no pattern nor it's all text bolded. It just bolds a portion of text. I'm using a Firebug so I've seen that FFox is actually adding <b> tags ?? What could be causing that ?

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the add-ons is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).

  • Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

As I've said - this happens randomly, and now is everything OK in "normal mode". I've been using all this addons since day 1 and have never had this problem. It just started 2 days ago. What concerns me is that FFox started ADDING "< b >" TAGS.... I mean WHY IN THE WORLD would FFox do such thing ? You know what I mean - it's not the usual font bold issue users were reporting for the past year....
