I have installed Thunderbird 78.2.2 (32-bit) on a new Windows 10 computer. Trying to import Windows Live Mail to Thunderbird. Trying to use "ImportExportTools 3.3.2" by Paolo "Kaosmos" but I see the following message:

Works with Thunderbird 14.0 - 60.* View other versions | Download Anyway

Should I "Download Anyway" with my Thunderbird 78.2.2 ?

I don't think so...

I will rather uninstall TB (if nothing else is set on TB v78) and download a compatible version for it and after that upgrade TB to the latest version... Here is the latest 68 which appear as working on add-on pages https://archive.mozilla.org/pub/thunderbird/releases/68.9.0/ If you already have some email accounts set on TB v78 please mention here prior to "downgrade"

The add-on has been replaced by ImportExportTools NG. There is a beta version for TB 78.

You could also create a subfolder of Local Folders and drag and drop eml files from File Explorer to the subfolder.

@svlad2009 and @sfhowes Thanks for your responses. I'm uncomfortable down-reving to 68.9.0 and I'm somewhat uncomfortable using a beta version of ImportExportTools NG. I looked around a while in: https://github.com/thundernest/import-export-tools-ng/issues and I believe that Christopher Leidigh is still actively fixing some bugs in ImportExportTools NG . However, it seems that he's getting really close to releasing. I think I'll wait a little while longer and see what happens with Chris's ImportExportTools NG release.
