FireFox Beta (mac) keeps crashing after a new update.
I do the beta version of firefox for mac.
Recently tho every time i restart to install an update. Firefox doesn't quit properly.
So i can open the new (updated) version but that crashes also when i quit. Which is becoming an issue because this stops my computer from shutting down. Meaning i have to do a hard shutdown!
At first it was ok as i thought they would fix it quickly but several updates later and it's still happening. In fact it's becoming more annoying.
Anyway, the last time i had a major issue with firefox i just stopped using it for a long time and they had fixed it when i came back. This time i'm trying to be a little more proactive and actually letting people know that it's happening and it's annoying.
So to reiterate, when installing an update the firefox doesn't exit properly leaving a not responding app icon in the menu bar. You can then open the new version, however when you quit that it goes into the same not responding state. Once this has happened you can't open it again. It also stops any shutdown attempts and force quit doesn't work, meaning the only way to quit and shutdown is using the power button.
A fix and help on this issue would be appreciated.
Thanks
