Some how I stepped in it. I tried Control Panel, TaskManager & RegEdit and it is still there. I had FireFox as my default browser & IE as a back up. Thiis only attacked FireFox. I uninstalled FireFox and it attacked IE. There is an option where you can run IR with no add-ons & that is what I'm using now. How do I get rid of blockandsurf so that I can re-install FireFox?

Every now and then, run most or all of the mal-ware scanners.

Sometimes a problem with Firefox may be a result of malware installed on your computer, that you may not be aware of.

You can try these free programs to scan for malware, which work with your existing antivirus software:

Microsoft Security Essentials is a good permanent antivirus for Windows 7/Vista/XP if you don't already have one.

Further information can be found in the Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware article.

Thanks. "Microsoft Safety Scanner " didn't find any issues, but "MalwareBytes' Anti-Malware" found and quarantined 16 suspicious files. Everything seems to be working fine. Great advice.
