Bookmarks not syncing from Android to desktop

I am using the new Sync with updated Firefox versions, but new saved bookmarks on my Android tablet are not appearing in the Mobile Bookmarks Folder on my Desktop computer. New Desktop Bookmarks appear on my Android device OK.

Any assistance appreciated

Hi adamford73, Thank you for your question. I understand that the new mobile bookmarks are not appearing in the Mobile Bookmark folder of your Desktop computer.

The bookmarks will sync, but android device will decide what to sync. Please do this experiment.

  1. Bookmark this question link on your tablet
  2. Manually sync the account from the Accounts section of the device's settings.
  3. Open the desktop profile and click "sync now" under "Tools"
  4. Check the Mobile folder, is it there?

I tried a new profile and synced the account, it showed up about an hour later. I also discovered that I deleted the Mobile Folder, but that is my fault. I would check the sync frequency of the account on the tablet/mobile and if it shows a current time stamp and does not sync after an hour, try to disconnect the account and reconnect.
