I use an external torrent app LibreTorrent. When I click on magnet links, FF133 faithfully opens the external app handler. However when I tap the OK button FF very often ignores my tapping. I can hit several times with no effect. I can see a quick circle showing as I tap, so the tap is generating an event, but FF does not react to it. This happens in normal and private mode. Sometimes after a couple or perhaps a dozen or more taps, the OK event has an effect and the external app launches fine.

A very curiously I accidentally noticed that if I tap or swipe the text also showing on the dialog box before tapping OK, the first tap on OK always works! 100% reliable. Something is fishy with event handling.

Repro: FF133 + current LibreTorrent client, then tap of first magnet link at https://webtorrent.io/free-torrents

Issue 1 faced on both desktop and mobile: If I go from one site to another, the previous site is able to embed tracker in it. Example: 1) Go to territorial.io . 2) through the ublock origin extension, see that there are no trackers or connection to third party. 3) now go to reddit.com . 4) In url type territorial.io and press enter. now check ublock and notice that reddit tracker is there. 5) Most concerning is that even search engine does that. for example go to duckduckgo and type territorial. click on the link and the duckduckgo tracker will be there. The "privacy respecting" search engine embeds its tracker to a shit ton of websites clicked through it. Not an expert but doesn't this violate something like same origin policy?

Issue 2 faced at least on mobile: private browsing means all cookie and stuff is deleted when the private session is closed, but: for example: 1) go to private mode. 2) go to monkeytype.com. 3) reject or accept the cookie. 4) close the browser. now it should be wiped but 5) open browser (private tab opens by default) 6) go to monkeytype.com again. a lot of times it will not ask for the cookie banner. 7) close the browser and go there again. 8) now it will ask again. I have noticed similar behavior in a lot of websites, where they remember who I am. But as soon as I open the browser and close it once, the cookie/session is truly wiped. This does not happen every time, but a loooot of time.

Thank you.

P.S. why the hell is this website using googletagmanager and sentry??? use something like https://plausible.io/ if you have to. sentry themselves use https://plausible.io/

Now it's completely impossible to open PDFs outside Firefox, as I could do until the last couple of beta versions.

This trend is going on since a few years ago, from bad to worst. The whole design of the PDFs download process is bad. PDFs should be treated by FF as any other file: download and open with the system default PDF viewer. Imposing Firefox's internal PDF viewer as mandatory for downloaded PDFs is nonsense.

Just wondering why Firefox on Android does not allow default desktop view of things such as Google Drive and to open Google docs in browser? I need the full Google Docs in the browser as the Docs app does not have all the things I need, such as equation editor. I have the Samsung Tab S10 Ultra so I know it is capable of doing this, I do it in Chrome on this tablet all the time, but would love to move over to Firefox, but can't because of this. Even the Samsung Internet app will allow this. Seems like Firefox really has not supported larger screen and more powerful Android devices properly.

I have both the beta Thunderbird for Android and the k9 clients on my phone but hadn't realised they were not interchangable, so I got a surprise when I opened via the blue icon and deleted an email and there was no 'are you sure you want to delete' or deletion options dialogue on the thunderbird version. The K9 still asks to confirm delete, but the thunderbird only has three options in the settings and I cant find any setting to turn on the dialogue.

If I'm not missing something (maybe I missed an update), I suggest this needs copying over from K9.

Hi all,

I am on Firefox for Android version 133 and am trying to stop getting cookie banners. According to this article: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/cookie-banner-reduction-firefox-android, there should be an option under Privacy and security, but no options for the cookie banner blocker exists.

I live in Canada, not sure if it is only available in certain countries?

Thanks
