With every version of Firefox, the program malfunctions more. First, I get "(Not Responding)" constantly. Sometimes I end the process and restart FF, but at other times it crashes on its own and I get the Crash Reporter. Starting a few updates back, many images in many web pages stopped loading. Most recently, windows won't come forward. Just now I restarted Firefox and there are 13 windows open altogether. However, 11 of them won't come forward when I click on their tabs in the task bar. The best version of Firefox was version 2. Since then, it has been all downhill.

This behavior has been happening through several Flash upgrades, so I don't think that's the problem.

Perhaps what I need to do is to downgrade Firefox.

Incidentally, I tried opening FF in safe mode, and I still wasn't able to bring most of the windows forward.

Can someone tell me how to downgrade to an earlier version of this program? I hear that a lot of people are still using version 3.6. Can I still get the installation files?
