Why am I unable to edit Google Calendar on my Mac desktop when it's allowed in other browsers?

I can no longer edit events in my Google Calendar. I've been using the calendar for about a month and this only started this week. When I clear my cache and cookies it works for a few seconds, but then locks up again. I can edit in Google Chrome.

Every time I've tried uploading to Firefox 5.0.1 the software install runs all night, but never finishes.

Are your plugins up to date? You can check here http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/. Also I would suggest updating to Firefox 5 please see this support article to guide you through the update process Update Firefox to the latest release.

How are you trying to update Firefox? Via the updater built in to Firefox or by downloading Firefox from mozilla.com?

I've tried both ways.

Have you tried removing Firefox by opening the Applications Folder and dragging Firefox to the trash? Then re-downloading? Your user profile will still remain so you shouldn't loose any bookmarks or anything in this process.
