I have a file in users profiles start up cache called startupCache.4 .little is this a genuine firefox file ?
I inadvertently downloaded a virus while trying to install a flv player. I uninstalled firefox and reinstalled it. I have a folder in my profiles called fajuybvp.default and in this is a file called startupCache.4.little which, when googled, is flagged as the virus that collects banking details. Can you please verify if this is a genuine firefox file please regards

hello, it is a legitimate file created by firefox when it is located in %localappdata%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\XXXXXXXX.default\startupCache.
if you suspect you're having issues with malware, run a full scan of your system with the security software already in place and different tools like the free version of malwarebytes, adwcleaner and microsoft safety scanner.

It is located there, but I will follow your link for malwarebytes and run a scan. Thank you very much for you fast reply.
