I uninstalled FoxFire, and then re-installed to make sure I had the latest version. I repeatedly got the requirement to install the plug-in, but it doesn't seem to take. I only need Foxfire to update my GPS device, because you guys don't support Windows Internet Explorer. I'm about fed-up with this crap. I'll be moving on to Magellan's next suggestion.

What plugin are you talking about?

. . . because you guys don't support Windows Internet Explorer.

Windows IE support is provided by Microsoft. But we may be able to help with some answers.

My apologies. I was trying to update my Magellan GPS unit. It's Magellan that keeps asking me to install the plugin. I will try to contact them about this matter. Thank you for your speedy response. Have a good day.

If they still use an old school binary plugin, Firefox no longer supports those after Firefox 52, except for Flash. See: Why do Java, Silverlight, Adobe Acrobat and other plugins no longer work?

If necessary, you can use Internet Explorer for that site -- you can start it up using its blue "e" icon -- and Firefox for other sites. There isn't a convenient way for Firefox to send a particular address to Internet Explorer, unfortunately.

I've contacted Magellan with my concerns. Unfortunately, they don't support Windows Internet Explorer. I'm hoping they get back to me with a solution. Thank you and I am sorry for wasting your precious time.
