How can I make the "options-tab" disappear at start-up ? this is new and rather annoying.
When I open firefox, now it opens the options in an extra tab. How can I make this disappear ?
Thank you. Rene

To expand on that: Firefox allows multiple "home tabs" separated by vertical bar characters separating two addresses. As a simple example with short URLs:
https://www.mozilla.org/|about:preferences
The bar definitely can be hard to spot with long URLs, but when you find it, delete everything to the right of the bar and then the bar itself (I suggest deleting the bar last so things don't accidentally get mushed together).

Hi, please see - How to set the home page, and in 'Home Page,' make sure that in addition to your home page URL (the Firefox start page is about:home but you may have set a different one), it doesn't also have about:preferences (the Options URL) - if it does, just delete it.
If it's easier, you can just click on Restore to Default instead.
