Usually when I click the new tab or '+' button there are tabs for top sites, bookmarks, recent tabs and history. I recently updated my browser and the recent tabs option is gone. I use it embarassingly often. How do I get it back or has firefox done away with it? All the other tabs are still there.

I'm not sure your Firefox version number was reported accurately -- 53.0?

In recent releases, a button for Recently Closed Tabs appears at the top of the History panel; it doesn't have its own panel any more.

Edit: The above is based on a phone, and possibly a tablet has a different layout to take advantage of the additional screen real estate.

Yes it was under history. Silly me. Thanks
