WHATS WITH THE LOADING ISSUES NOW??? (FF 29)
Updated to FF version 29
Now, I open a new tab up, click on a bookmark for a website to load....and it just loads and loads and loads until I hit the RELOAD button and then it will show up. Talk about frustrating. I'm having to spend so much time wasting by reloading every web page.
Anyone working on this one? Or will I have to solve this one too???
And dont tell me to uninstall this, that or the other thing, its not on MY end, its with FF, its a bug of some sort. It started with the 28 version and has continued since then.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extension (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.
- Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
- Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window
OOPS I clicked "YES" that your solution helped Cor-el but it didn't Sorry Not sure what else to try here but it sure is frustrating.
Got any more thoughts?
Thanks

Probably irrelevant but it looks like user.js is currently active in Firefox. The user.js file is only present if you or other software has created this file and normally it wouldn't be there.
You can delete a possible user.js file and numbered prefs-##.js files and rename (or delete) the prefs.js file to reset all prefs to the default value including prefs set via user.js and prefs that are no longer supported in the current Firefox release. You can get to the profile folder below:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory > Show Folder
or
- Go to about:support and click Show Folder next to Profile Directory.
It is possible that your security software (firewall, anti-virus) blocks or restricts Firefox or the plugin-container process without informing you, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox and the plugin-container from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full, unrestricted, access to internet for Firefox and the plugin-container process and the updater process.

Well, now I've upgraded to version 30 and the pages are loading even SLOWER. This is completely INSANE. Has ANYONE out there had this problem and solved it?? I've done just about everything asked/suggested here and its still not working.
Anyone at all??? Anyone???
Many users don't have issues so there must be something going on with your configuration.
I see that you have Advanced SystemCare in Firefox installed. ASC is a known problematic extension and usually contributes to non-loading. Can you try to disable Advanced SystemCare?
By the way, what was the outcome of deleting the user.js file I mentioned above? Does it still affect Firefox?
I've went ahead and escalated this thread to the full time SUMO HelpDesk so they can give suggestions to.
Try disabling graphics hardware acceleration. Since this feature was added to Firefox, it has gradually improved, but there still are a few glitches.
You might need to restart Firefox in order for this to take effect, so save all work first (e.g., mail you are composing, online documents you're editing, etc.).
Then perform these steps:
- Open Firefox Options window (Preferences on Mac or Linux) as follows:
- In Firefox 29.0 and above, click the menu button and select Options for Windows or Preferences on Mac or Linux.
- In Firefox 28.0 and previous versions, click the orange Firefox button at the top left, then select the "Options" button, or, if there is no Firefox button at the top, go to Tools > Options.
- In the Firefox Options (or Preferences) window, click the Advanced tab, then select General.
- In the settings list, you should find the Use hardware acceleration when available checkbox. Uncheck this checkbox.
- Now, restart Firefox and see if the problems persist.
Additionally, please check for updates for your graphics driver by following the steps mentioned in the following Knowledge base articles:
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
Thank you.

Hi Moses,
Okay I've already disabled the graphics hardware. Still doesn't work.
Next, I dont understand how to delete the .js files. You then say to rename them so that confused me. Sorry.
I will disable the advanced system care from my extensions and restart . If it still doesnt work, I'll be back.
Thank you for your willingness to help me.
Still no answers so I made a new thread only to have it locked and they sent me back here. I'm seriously thinking of leaving FF and going back to IE. This is a JOKE
Do a clean reinstall and delete the Firefox program before (re)installing a fresh copy of the current Firefox release.
- Download the full Firefox installer and save the file to the desktop
http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html
If possible uninstall your current Firefox version to cleanup the Windows registry and settings in security software.
- Do NOT remove "personal data" when you uninstall your current Firefox version, because this will remove all profile folders and you lose personal data like bookmarks and passwords including data in profiles created by other Firefox versions.
Remove the Firefox program before installing that newly downloaded copy of the Firefox installer.
- (32 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\"
- (64 bit Windows) "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\"
- It is important to delete the Firefox program to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
Your bookmarks and other personal data are stored in the Firefox profile folder and won't be affected by an uninstall and (re)install, but make sure that "remove personal data" is NOT selected when you uninstall Firefox.
If you keep having problems then also create a new profile.
