Mcfee was downloaded along Adobe reader. When I try to uninstall all I get is a partial box. I can see partial boxes in the bottom that I can't get at. Really the only thing I can fully read is to minimize or to exit with X. It doesn't do anything after this point. How can I get it off my drive?

My email hosting provider is is using mailchannels spam filter for outbound email, and after I switched from K9 to Thunderbird (Android) all my outgoing emails are being marked as spam and blocked. I have a ongoing case logged with them but checking if any one has any advice or has similar issues?

Note k9 works fine, I'm guessing they are confused with headers from PC vs mobile version

I had had issues with gloda (search) for a long while. I have tried deleting the sqlite file to force a reindex as per the guidance. I am watching Activity Monitor in TB after reopening, to monitor the reindex process. But it hangs every time. it goes through sent items and seems to get stuck at one point every time. I know I can display only unread messages in a particular folder by using the Quick Filter / Show only... option, but is it possible to set up a more direct method which requires only one click and is permanently displayed as an option?

Is there any way to retrieve my actual password I typedin for an email account instead of the google "token". If not, this password may be lost forever as google will not provide reset options.

A simple yes/no will suffice, don't need an explanation, I understand that thunderbird is just using what google requires of it, but it would still be good to be able to view actual password

I am using a Mac with Big Sur (macOS Monterey Version 12.7.6), and my email is POP, using Thunderbird Version 128.4.2esr. My incoming messages are sorted in reverse order so that the latest message is listed first. I retrieve the message headers first then I either delete the message or download the contents of the message. The problem is that when I click on the download instructions Thunderbird does download the message OK, '''BUT it highlights the message just downloaded and it jumps to the next message. '''This is very annoying because in order to read the contents of the message I have to go back one message and purposely select the message just downloaded. It did not do this previously. Please correct or tell me the corrective action I should take.

When Firefox loads a web site such as TicTok.com, the site instantly plays the very first video that loads. Now this sure sounds like there would be a very simple solution for this problem and the solution should be built right into Firefox's settings... right? Let's see here...

Settings\Privacy & Security\Permissions\Autoplay {pop-up window} Default for all sites: [Allow Audio and Video]

                                   Block Audio
                                   Block Audio and Video

Website Listbox: Status: about:welcome^privateBrowsingId=1 [Allow Audio and Video] about:welcome [Allow Audio and Video]

   *the two dropdownboxes in this list have the same options as the 'all sites' dropdownbox.

So with these settings I certainly can block every website from autoplaying any audio or I can block every website from autoplaying any audio AND video. However these settings do not provide a "Block Video" only option. Why would anyone want that? Well because of the way sites like TicTok actually behave when Block Audio and Video is set. When Block Audio and Video is set, the user will have to press play on the video AND then press unmute. The user should be able to prevent the video playback when the website loads, and when the user presses play the audio should just start working without need for pressing unmute. This however, is only annoyance issue.

There is a real functionality issue as well. When looking at the Website Listbox, this component is essentially useless. The developers didn't even need to include the two "about:welcome" entries. They won't ever do anything unless Mozilla decides to add Audio/video to their welcome page (probably not happening). So the user can safely delete those two entries, but here is where it gets interesting. Once deleted, the user can not put them back. In fact, the user cannot enter ANYTHING into this listbox (why?). The only thing we can do is Remove All Websites.

What does this mean for the user? It means that I am relegated to either simply dealing with obnoxious websites and their autoplayed videos. Or I can set it so every website is blocked from autoplaying Audio and Video, but if I do that then I will have to unmute videos before clicking play. The presence of the Website Listbox sure does suggest that the user should be able to add websites, thereby creating a customized list of sites which should or shouldn't have autoplay permissions. To be quite honest, this part of Firefox seems incomplete and I hope it will see some attention soon.

I just downloaded Thunderbird on my new Mac, asked it to synch with my email and it's done it very imperfectly, missing lots of folders and sub-folders, showing deleted and archived folders (in italics) and so on. It did this on a previous desktop too, where I uninstalled Thunderbird and reinstalled it to try - but failed - to solve the issue. What did I, or it, do wrong and how do I correct it? I'm having trouble accessing Aniwatch on Mozilla Firefox. Every time I try to open the site, it either doesn't load properly or gives me an error. I've already tried clearing my browser cache and cookies, updating Firefox to the latest version, and even disabling my ad blocker, but nothing seems to work.

Has anyone else faced this issue? Any suggestions on how to fix it? Aniwatch works fine on other browsers, but Firefox is my main one, so I'd love to get this resolved. Appreciate any help! 🙏

I am on Version 133.0 Android Firefox. Whether I use Bing or Google search the results are in a small font with an additional column on the RH side. I noticed that if I turn off Desktop Site then it goes back to normal. But any subsequent searches are again in small font even though Desktop Site is now switched off. I have failed to find a resolution in the Settings. I have tried re-installing but to no avail. Advice appreciated.

So for example i watch video on youtube (doesn't matter, it happens on every site), and i want to skip 5 seconds, i press the arrow key and the video rewinds, BUT the sound is glitching a little bit, until these 5 seconds are rewinded, and its very annoying. Hello,

I want to be able to highlight/copy an email address from the 'Results for:.. ' header at the top of the Search Results page in Thunderbird 115 (see attached screenshot).

When I use the Search Bar, Thunderbird recognises the email address as being used previously, but does not bring up any results. It used to be possible to highlight/copy the email address from the 'Results for:.. ' header in previous versions of Thunderbird. I would much prefer to be able to do this save time and ensure that I have the email address correct - otherwise I need to type it out manually which is frustrating and can lead to errors.

Some time in the not too distant past Thunderbird has started preventing me from moving files from folder to folder.
