Yahoo replacing Google on Firefox homepage, have tried to change it back but it reverts back to Yahoo. HELP!
I've tried entering safe mode and reseting the browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone pref reverting the search engine settings back to default but when I restart Firefox, I still end up with Yahoo as my Firefox homepage search engine. I hate Yahoo and I really need help getting rid of it, I can't think of anything else...

Not sure if this will help, but try going through the following link https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=102313
copy pasting from comment 37:-
"set your browser.startup.homepage_override.mstone pref to "ignore" (by hand) and you get to keep your homepage "

Go to "Manage Search Engines" in the pull down menu in the search box and delete every option but the one you want. At least that's what I'm trying.
I've tried this and it doesn't work, it just changes itself back

(Go to Help > Troubleshooting information to get a copy-pastable list but you can manage them in Tools > Add-ons or Firefox > Customize > Add-ons)
