When ever I am on streaming sites such as Netflix or Disney+ or even various other news websites, my screen resolution seems to jump up a notch. Running a PC with WIn7 64bit and a Sony Bravia TV for a monitor. 1920x1080 is the resolution that I normally use. I have never encountered a screen resolution change outside of using Firefox.

Check that you do not run Firefox in compatibility mode or with reduced screen resolution. You can open the Properties of the Firefox desktop shortcut via the right-click context menu and check the "Compatibility" tab. Make sure that all items are deselected in the "Compatibility" tab of the Properties window.

None of the items were selected when I opened the Properties. I noticed that the context menu was showing Windows Vista, I changed to WIndows 7, restarted FIrefox and tried again with a streaming site. Same issue.
