Disable touch screen scrolling
The new Firefox quantum 57, has got an incredibly serious problem that must be understood and resolved.
I use a touchscreen, and with my touchscreen on previous versions of Firefox, I use it to select text on webpages and I use the scroll bar to the right to scroll the webpage.
Now when I touch a webpage, it simply drags the page up and down and I have no ability whatsoever to select text and I do not want clicking and dragging on a webpage to scroll the page but instead to select text.
Also I notice that seemingly randomly but under certain conditions the right-click shortcut menu displays when that is not even the intent. Rather than letting the operating system display it when I click and hold the point on the screen for a few seconds.
This is a huge usability and accessibility problem. This is an absolute disaster with the consequence of that change that has been made.
You need to realize the incredible stupidity of what you have done to destroy to the functionality of the browser. And I do not want to be told how to modify I use the browser. I need the functionality restored the way it was before.
I cannot even double click on a word on a webpage to select it like in previous versions of Firefox. I cannot even do my work anymore. This browser is totally completely unacceptable and unusable by me and I am sure as others as well. You should realize the incredibly serious consequence of what you have done.

For those looking to an alternative to Mozilla Firefox to address the above, have a look at: http://www.palemoon.org
This browser is based on Firefox. I am evaluating it now. So far so good. It functions properly.
