Without knowing what toolbar you are talking about, right click it and select Customize. Look for a Delete button. You can always use Delete on your keyboard.

The mail tool bar is the one I wish to add the delete button.

Right clicking and selecting customize doesn't have the delete button any more.

Yes I can use the Delete key but is not friendly to scan the emails, moving back and forth from the mouse to the keyboard.

If you want colour, you'll need to add a theme. I'm trying Phoenity Shredder right now.

Using a theme may restore your delete button. I certainly have one in each on my Thunderbirds in Windows 10, Windows 7 and LMDE.

That theme brought back the delete icon and colour. The icons are not quite my style but I will get use to them. The washed out grey was terrible.

I don't understand why a basic function is eliminated.
