What happens after I save?

Curious what happens when you save a link to Pocket? Simple – it’s added to your List! When you open an item that you’ve saved to Pocket, it will appear in Article View or View Original, depending on what it is that you’ve saved. How to save to Pocket on your computer

The Save to Pocket browser extension adds a Pocket button to your browser toolbar so you can save pages in a single click. Our browser extensions are available for Firefox, Chrome, Safari, Edge, Yandex and more. The Save to Pocket extension can also be installed in browsers that support Chrome extensions such as Brave, Opera and Vivaldi. Visit https://getpocket.com/add to add the Pocket extension to your browser and start saving.

Pocket integration in Firefox

Pocket is now integrated into the Firefox browser. Update to the latest version of Firefox to access the new Pocket button. Simply click the Pocket Fx89PocketButton button to save. See Save web pages for later with Pocket for Firefox to learn more about saving to Pocket in Firefox.

Manually save on Pocket’s website

In Pocket for Web, you can save links directly to your list. Just click the + button in the top toolbar. This is a great solution if you’re using a browser that doesn't support browser extensions. See Saving to Pocket manually to learn how to manually save to Pocket.

How to save to Pocket on your iPhone and iPad

Pocket Share Extension

The Pocket Share Extension lets you save links to Pocket from Safari and many of your apps. See Enabling the Pocket Share extension in iOS to learn how to enable the Pocket Share Extension and use it to save to Pocket.

Save via Copy and Paste

If you copy a link on your iOS device and open Pocket, you will be asked if you want to save it when opening Pocket. See Save to Pocket from your clipboard to learn more about saving with copy and paste.

How to save to Pocket on Android

Android Share Menu

Tap the share button in your Android browsers and favorite apps, and select Add to Pocket to save the item to your list. See Saving to Pocket on Android to learn how to save to Pocket on Android.

Then, tap the Save button on any Recommended item that you want to save.

Add URLs manually

You can manually add an article by copying and pasting its URL to Pocket following the next steps:

  1. Open your Pocket appRedPocketIcon.
  2. On the bottom of your screen, go to Saves.

  3. On the top right corner of your screen press the "+" icon.

  4. Paste the URL on the Add a URL window.

Done! You'll be able to see the saved article on your Pocket app from now on.

Save via Copy and Paste

How to save and view articles on your Kobo eReader
