When I visit website which have video advertisments embedded in them I often encounter have slowness and Firefox crashes related to the FlashPlayer Plugin.
Embedded video advertisements crash my flash player plugin. I believe the plugin is up to date, but I honestly don't even know how to check. The problem occurs often if I decide to go to click bait sites such as Buzzfeed, or tv news website which also tend to have large numbers of advertisements. I tried to disable autoplay so that the videos wouldn't start, but that only result in me having to click to start my streaming videos on YouTube and netflix/hulu/etc. Advertisements continued to autoplay and crash the flash plugin. Memory usage in these situation skyrockets well over 1,000,000 k.

This is not a cure, but should let the web page load without crashing.

Use this link to check that your plugins are up-to-date. If any are listed as unknown or research, do not worry about them.
