Why does Firefox 8 show the getting started screen every time I start it?
Whenever I start Firefox 8 it checks compatibility of my add-ons and then goes straight to the getting Started screen. How do I make it go to my home page instead?

You will have to change the Home Page to the page your want to display. In order to do so, follow the steps below:
- Go to Options (i.e. \Firefox\Options\Options);
- Go to the General tab;
- Under Start-up - enter the URL in the Home Page URL box.
Also, make sure that you have chosen "Show my Home Page" under "When Firefox Starts" (use the drop down arrow).
Thanks for the response. I do have my home page set to the page I want and "Show my Home Page" selected. Firefox opens both my home page and the getting started screen when I start it.
That's weird. It could be that you are currently set to open multiple tabs on start-up. Try restoring to default, by using the "Restore Default" button (under the General tab) and then reenter your Home Page URL.
