You should not need to list any email address to download Firefox. Are you installing from the official site?

http://www.mozilla.com/firefox

Yes, when I go to Mozilla.com and select the download arrow, I get a "File Download - Security Warning that asks, Do you want to run or save this file Name: Firefox 5.0 exe Type: Application 13.0MB From: the "From:" keeps changing from: Mozilla.mirror.ac.za, ankeem.muzilla.org, openaccess.oldapps.com, Apuni-kl.de, etc.

I see what you mean. Firefox is distributed from a variety of servers and you may get a different one on each reload, depending on demand at the time.

If you want to avoid using a "mirror" site, you can use the Mozilla FTP server:

ftp://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/5.0/win32/en-US/

(If you prefer a language other than U.S. English, navigate up a level and select your preferred language.)

sst706, the Firefox downloads are served by way of http://releases.mozilla.org which is mirrored to help with the load, especially during a new release.
