Hello I cant view my passwords after a "firefox refresh". Then I tried to create a master password, because it seems to be the reason why I cant view my password, right? But that doesnt work either! I keep getting the same message: "Password change failed, unable to change master password" And I am doing everything correct!

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problem.

See "Creating a profile":

If the new profile works then you can transfer files from a previously used profile to the new profile, but be cautious not to copy corrupted files to avoid carrying over problems.

Once a Master Password has been enabled, you have to provide the password to open the Password Manager. There is no other way other then to lose all saved passwords.

Try to restore the logins.json and key3.db files, either from a backup that you have or from a Time Machine backup.

Ohh Ive done that too. No luck at all

Did you check the permissions of these two file (at least key3.db) to make sure you have write access?

You would have to remove the two files logins.json and key3.db to make Firefox create new files if you can't make it work.

This is seriously fucked. Firefox wont save my passwords, its not even asking if I want to. I have tried every f... thing. And now I cant even find the Firefox folder in my Library anymore. What the fuck happened to good old Firefox and Apple? Do I really have to use Safari from now on?
