When I upgraded to Firefox 29 my add ons were missing. Not disabled---MISSING. I tried copying the old profile but it didn't help. I was using the Maskme addon and it has all of the passwords that it had made and the masked email addresses. I really need to get this info back.

Go to the Mozilla Add-ons Web Page , look for and re-install your add-ons. On each add-on page, there is a way to flag it for those who are logged in to the site. I use it to keep a list just in case.

While you are there, check out FEBE

FEBE (Firefox Environment Backup Extension) allows you to quickly and easily backup your Firefox extensions. In fact, it goes beyond just backing up -- It will actually rebuild your extensions individually into installable .xpi files.

It will also make backup of files that you choose.

One last thing. In the event that the passwords information is lost, you should record all information in a separate text file somewhere else on your hard drive. You can easily copy and paste if you need to do so. If you are concerned about someone else looking at that file, you can compress it using a password.
