Norton and Firefox 35 are not compatible....I've run the Norton Live update....so Norton is current. Why am I not able to use my Norton toolbar with Firefox..
Why am I not able to run my Norton tool bar on Firefox version 35. I've run Norton Live update...not giving me good results. I was using an older version of Firefox...Norton was compatible for a while and suddenly became compatible..not acceptable. I don't usually update FireFox immediately because of issues like this in the past, but Firefox likes to take over....
I'm to the point where I feel like forgetting Firefox and switching permanently back to Explorer..
So frustrating.

I have the same problem. Norton Support just spent 1.5 hours trying to get v35 to accept it's latest toolbar (v 2014.7.10.12) on my computer which they - Norton - say IS COMPATIBLE WITH V35. They suggested I uninstall/reinstall Firefox, which I did. It made no difference.

Unlike with most extensions, the extensions provided by say antivirus clients and ties in with the client needs to be updated for each new major Firefox release exe.
Norton does have update for Firefox 35.0 though sometimes it can take some tries. Also make sure if you do have the current extension version that you make sure it is enabled.

I finally did get the Norton tool bar onto Firefox by running the Norton Live Update a few times. Eventually it did finally popup onto my tool bar.
Both Norton's Support & myself have run the Norton Update several times. That is the way to get their latest addons in. I will try that again.
