Folder missing...but still exists?
I created a work folder. I have been able to add mails to it, and access it without any problem.
Now I can't find the folder...however, I can still add mails to the invisible folder.
I can see the path, where the folder should be. I can move mails into the folder - why can't I access the folder itself? How can I restore it?
I am using Postbox.
Thanks!

From the Menu Bar select View-Folders and make sure ALL is checked.
No menu bar? Press the alt key to make it appear.
Just noticed you said you are using Postbox. This is a Thunderbird forum so I doubt my answer will help. Maybe Postbox has a support forum.

Please finish your reply to the question about ow to find a "missing" folder. I have a folder which I created months ago, which still exists, to which my filter is currently directing messages, and where I can find (by searching) individual messages that have been directed there, but I CAN'T FIND THE FOLDER ITSELF!! So I can't go and look at all the messages there. The folder is not where I think I created it and where it logically would be. The VIEW folders ALL doesn't help; it still requires me to open every folder that has a sub-folder manually. I've done that, but it was tedious (I have a hundred or more deeply structured subfolders) and still can't find it. I was hoping that VIEW-FOLDERS-ALL would automatically open all folders and sub-folders. HELP!!
I have the same problem. Select all doesn't do anything. I have important E-Mails in these folders and need to access them.
Well, at least there are a couple of us.
Did you see my post yesterday> I think I blundered into a solution.
No, I can't find you post from yesterday (just this: "I have the same problem. Select all doesn't do anything. I have important E-Mails in these folders and need to access them.") Your post may have disappeared like those darn e-mail folders. If you've got a solution, please send as a reply to this...
Your E-Mail address was cut off but here is my reply.
What I did was to use the MOVE TO function on an E-Mail in my INBOX. This then displayed ALL of my folders including the missing ones. I then selected to move the E-Mail to one of the missing folders which worked. Then I did search of the Folders using the BODY option and a word that I knew was in the body of the E-Mail that I just moved into the missing Folder. When the search returned several E-Mails including the one I had just moved I DOUBLE CLICKED on it and all the missing Folders reappeared on the left and are still there today.
